Christmas special part:1

Nut toffee




Ingredients: 25g butter, 1½ dl light brown muscovado sugar, 100g light syrup, 1 tbls vanilla sugar and finally 100g almonds.

1. Chopp up your almonds roughly.



 2. Add the moscovado sugar, butter and syrup to a saucepan. Bring up to a boil and lower the temperature to a even temperature and let it boil for 5 minutes.


 

3. Add the vanilla sugar and the almonds to the mixture and let it boil for another 3-4 minutes.
4. Spread out the mixture evenly onto oven paper. Be sure to cut it before it has gotten cold and stiff.
You can then chose if you want to cut them into squares like I did or to serve them in moulds.




5. Keep it in a dry place.
